Her father was crazy about experiments on all living creatures and science which he believed was able to create new specimens. When he was conducting experiments on crossing human genes with Gods (finding a 'vessel' for God to live like a human), all his research subjects always failed. Because of despair, a crazy thought crossed his mind at that time, namely, sacrificing his own child for the success of the experiment on crossing the Human Soul with God. When his father heard that in London there was a group of scientists who were researching about gods and their vessels, he joined the research group. His father then submitted a proposal and conducted experiments with them and really produced results.. .
Her father and other scientists successfully implanted the soul of a goddess into Arnelle's body. The goddess Benzaiten, trapped in her daughter's body and unable to accept being treated as a guinea pig, eventually turned her father and several other scientists to ash. Over time, Arnelle was able to synchronize her soul with the goddess, but at the cost of losing her ability to feel human emotions...
